It seems like Nepal will have it’s first ever horror, fantasy and folklore film festival this Halloween (31st October – 2nd November). We are excited to see what great films come out of this endeavor.
KHFF is organized by the Nepal Film & Cultural Academy (NFCA), and will screen films over 3 days, along with other experiences. There will also be awards for Best Feature Film, Best Short film and Best youth Film.
The venue is the Nepal Tourism Board which is located at Pradarshani Marg, Bhrikutimandap
Kathmandu, Bagmati Province (44617), Nepal.
It’s very heartening to see more and more genre related initiatives in South Asia, as people realize the power of atypical storytelling. We would love to see this replicated in other South Asian countries as well.
