About

Tasavvur, which literally means Imagination in Urdu/Hindi, aims to provide a warm and cozy space for imaginative short stories from South Asia. While we love all sorts of stories, we want to publish those with a South asian theme, setting or characters. It’s a labor of love from a set of folks who think that finding and publishing budding speculative fiction writers from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives, Afghanistan and Nepal (and more!), is worth spending their weekends on.

We aim to publish every quarter!
