Kehkashan is a visual artist and writer from Karachi. She can’t function without a sense of community or a cup of coffee. She can currently be found in Jeddah, working on her first novel, spending time with her three young children, and searching for calm in the midst of chaos. Faroz is a developer from Lahore, Pakistan and leads the in-house web development for Tasavvur, and The Salam Award. He oversees technical enhancements, while continuously improving Tasavvur’s website functionality.

Raazia Naqvi is a business management student by day, aspiring fantasy writer by night. Originally found drifting in the waves of Karachi, she is now based in Islamabad, where she pens down gothic South-Asian historical fantasy pieces. While helping manage the wonder that is Tasavvur, she is also an alumni for The Salam Award Workshop 2025.

Mushba Said (she/they) is a speculative artist and writer from Karachi, Sindh. An alumni of the Salam Award Spec Fic Workshop 2023, they write speculative fiction under the pen name Khushbu Khushi. When not creating, Mushba enjoys gardening, reading POC-centric fiction, playing indie video games, and listening to lo-fi music. They also help out on the The Salam Award. When she is not building literary communities, she is usually dreaming up strange worlds, folklore, and stories that linger in the dark.
